The hardware section is becoming a full blown market place these days, is it possible to create a sub forum for that so we can move all that out of the hardware section?

I'm not too keen on the idea of turning the forum into a sanctioned market place.

no thx
So we're just going to keep on tacitly approving it by letting what's currently happening continue while turning a blind eye to what's actually going on anyway? ..how very English! *nudge.nudge.wink.wink* :D

Shall I re-phrase then..... Ban selling on the forum!
Sorry, but that's hardly feasible - or even reasonable! :p ..I mean, it's going on and it's a little late to be closing the barn door after the horse has bolted. Also, it's going on and to now take away what's evidently a lively and more-or-less working function is likely to be an exercise in futility. More worthwhile is to either keep the status quo, with people taking their transactions private and the moderators regularly reminding all and sundry to do so.
Disclosure: I've now bought stuff twice from private sellers and had no problems with doing so; in both cases everything was discussed via PM.

Leave the horse, poor thing must reign free, FREE, I tell you!! :D
As far as I am concerned there is no selling on the forum anyway, everything occurs in private (PM), as it should be and this does not qualify as selling in public terms, IMHO.

The barn door can be shut at any time - especially if there isnt a sanctioned forum section.
