If anyone can shed some light it would be nice.... I think it might be something to do with the external drive when it goes into sleep... but then I dont really know

Cheers

Is this from an intel mac laptop? If it's a once off event I wouldn't be too concerned.

yes its the new core duo intel books. I had it gone into sleep now and it looks to be fine. I will keep an eye on it.

I've had my Macbook for 2 weeks now and no crashes. It's suffering a bit seeing as I'm ripping my DVD's to take with me on my trip but otherwise its purring like a kitten.

It must have been when it tried to go to sleep when I was playing Itunes from my external drive and it could not stop it properly. But hey it the first OS that you dont have to wait for all the popups to complete before you can use your mem stick or external drive.
