Just a quick note (bypassing the mods radar) - I have updated my Linux thread with the E220, which I can now say is happy to post this message :D

Cool, maybe you can help ic to get the USB stuff working!! :)LOL, I did a 'search this thread' search over the weekend for 'E220', and noted that Tazz_Tux was still in the early stages of courting the E220, good to hear that TT & E220 are going steady now :).

Basically I want to setup a 3rd VMware virtual machine running IPCop [usually 2.4 kernel, but I can get IPCop to run on 2.6], to control an HSDPA device [not a data card], I haven't had too much luck with USB devices in VMware, but that's another issue...
