Not sure where to post this....

I'm looking for rants and raves on the company 24-7online:
http://www.24-7online.co.za/pricingb.html

Their pricing is fairly good and you don't need a telscum ADSL line.
I've also considered MyWireless Home from sentech, but after reading the flaming of all the angry customers, I decided against them.

Currently looking at the "Silver 128K Uncapped 25:1 Home" from 24-7online, I will basically use it for research purposes (as in googling, reading long articles online), some downloads, and uploads for websites I'm working on, dial up is getting toooooooo expensive for this kind of work.

Any help apreciated.

Thanx

Wireless = Laggy and slow.. Even if its uncapped. You aren't likely to pull over 500mb a day even if u tried. They also block p2p or shape it to hell

So yeah, your propably much better off with a 384K ADSL line, with 3gig international/30gig local from Openweb account

How about Wireless in SA = Laggy and slow?

Oh, and the General Broadband Discussions section would have been a better place for this thread.

Agreed :-) .. iburst isnt bad at all (if you are lucky enough to get a good signal) .. but a WISP .... eeeeeeeeeeek - that is just pure WRONG!

Personally, I think the WISP days are numbered ... with ICASA attacking more and more every day.
