The new patch has secured a lot of functions. Addon developers just need to rework many of their addons.... Many addons already worked on day 1 of the patch (addons from programmers that are keeping up with changes and using the testing realms to check thier addons).

Yeah warriors got nerfed pretty badly. But ppl will get around it. However, on closed beta a prot warrior said his tanking role was being challenged by a feral druid and pala. That's quite lol's.

:D yeah my former guild had some trouble downing ony....lol....they needed 15 peeps to down her lol, and these okes take her down in a raid group of 7

imo i personally think the TBC is gonna kill the game or the game will be un-balanced.

Guy's it's way too early to tell exactly what is happening ingame.

Patch 2 and what is happeing on the beta servers is already different.

Patch 2 has opened the way for TBC to be introduced in Jan and there will be changes again to classes/spells/talents. (The druid class for instance has way different talents already)

We did some MC and ZG/AQ20 after the patch and even with tanks tanking in fury/arms we managed quite well.

I like the new pvp system and the arena. (and I am a pve'er) :D

It has unfortunately caused horrible lag in the bg's as there were close to 300 battles running in each bg. (apparently blizz has solved this by limiting the bg's to max 150. (This unfortunately caused the waiting time to increase)

In my oprinion the the patch was a bit of a rush but the game is still very playable even if there are some issues that needs solving.

Most mods has already been updated and new one's were created for those that became completely obsolete.:)

I dont have a problem with my warrior. Holding aggro just fine. The patch gave us 2 free talents. I think Fury and Prot warriors actually benefited from the patch. Rage generation from 2h has been normalised, which is a bit of a nerf for arms warriors. With duel-wield and fast weapons, I build up rage quickly. With +attack power gear and +strength, I do a fair share of damage in beserk stance.

Feral druids could always tank just fine. In some cases it is better to have the druid tank anyway, and that was pre-patch as well.

When it comes to having to tank multiple targets, then the warrior is the best. Depending on the feral druids spec and gear, the druid will have more armor and health, but the druid wont have as many high threat abilities as the warrior.

Not sure about the pala. Only gets 1 "taunt" ability, I think. Also remember that many bosses are immune to taunt/growl etc. So its the warriors threat abilities which make the difference(i.e revenge, shield bash, sunder, heroic strike etc.. Sunder Armor has been nerfed a bit)

Having the druid and pala available as a tank is brilliant, because they can step in and pull aggro off a clothie. The warrior does not have to turn his/her back on his current target/s(and get stunned in the process) to chase after the mob beating up on the priest or lock.

This works well even in lower level instances, such as the princess fight in Maraudon. When the tank gets feared, the druid or paladin can grab aggro until the tank gets back into the fight. I did a few of these where the druid was the main tank, and my warrior was the backup-tank. I stayed in beserk stance, dps with bloodthirst. When the fear came, I popped my beserk rage to break fear, go to defence stance, taunt the lady, then tank until the druid gets back. Then back to beserk stance and build rage and dps and execute to end the fight. Fun had by all.

The key is to utilise all classes best abilities to win the fight. Hey, when its going well, the priest pulls in to melee with staff/dagger.

I get lots of requests to tank in SM, ZF and ST even though I have leveld past that. Shows that warriors are still in great demand.

All classes have been changed(some use the term "nerfed", but that is a negative way of looking at it). We simply adjust.
