Adsl hooked up yesterday! *check*
Nightfall on 24h order from Kalahari *check*

Yay! I haven't played a game in 6 months... should be awesome...

Is a 5900Fx going to handle the game?

Guild Wars is not too intensive in that regard, think it can run on about anything. ;)

Good you're just in time for the Double Drop Chance of rare items in Chests for Elona.

Hurry , Hurry!! :D

Oh and incidentally welcome, be prepared to say bye bye to life as you know it.

I started playing on a fx5700 and it worked fine. It of course works better with my new one though :)

I have an FX 5200, and the game runs fine. My system should not be able to run it - I have the minimum of specs for the game - 1.5GHz, 786MB RAM, but it runs perfectly! :)

Just out of curiousity, what fps do you get?

Not sure how to check that. I have all graphics set to low aside from textures, but it is running on DirectX 9.0c.. :)

You can use the switch -perf in the properties of your Guild Wars launcher (in the Target field, add it after gw.exe i.e. "drive\location\gw.exe" -perf)
This switch will show you fps & thruput ingame.
