...Harvest Moon?

No. This Pokora catcher game is 'scroller' game where you have to catch
a number of rodents in a given time per stage. It's fun to play,
its family friendly and best of all -- IT's FREE.

Harvest Moon? Never played it, sorry. :)

Harvest Moon is a farming sim for the nintendo DS. Thing is, the cover looks pretty much the same as this, the graphics look pretty much the same, and HM is a curiously addictive game, considering it's basically about feeding animals, tilling soil and trying to pick up girls in town.

Both HM and Pokora use Japanese 'anime' like or manga (comics) like
charater drawing styles. The big eyes, small noses are the main characteristic, and video games are a small submarket of this, the
Japanese have a multi-billion dollar cartoon (anime) industry with about a 100
different TV series released annually featuring such characters :).

If you find HM a fun game, you should check out some 'anime' movies/series. Films/TV series range from heavily philosphical
shows to parodying comedies to slice of life stuff to action, horror, drama, romance and whatnot. Most of it is very whacky
hillarious stuff :).

...I'm an avid anime fan, and have been for the past 6 years...

That said, the art style really is identical. What're you watching? Since Bleach went into filler hell I haven't seen much that caught my attention.
