Well, the jail worker did blatantly deny it. Can easily see something like that happening though. 'Who is ever going to listen to the jailbird, besides she is behind bars so my view must be morally superior'.

Wonder if the victim did pay back the fine as claimed. Either way, a fine for a juvenile offense from years back is hardly reason to stop an investigation into a serious offense.
