DSTV Decoder : which model ?

Hi ...

Does anyone know if there is a DSTV decoder with a) SPDIF and b) decent video connection such as RGB or Component ?

It seems the older decoders have the RGB (which I need and use) but no SPDIF ... while the newer one have the SPDOIF but no RGB. Does anyone in the know think they're launching something else in the next year ?

Dolby : on the spdif issue, i think you MAY be hoping for Multichoice to actually care about its customers.... which in SA is totally unacceptable and never done.

yea but the little decoders do have - so although they don't use it now, at least it's future proofed :/ But how dumb to remove decent video!

What do the PVRs have ?

AFAIK any of the decoders that have scart can output to composite, s-video, or RGB.
