....um, i cant do it. lol

Be nice now please.

If i click on the button next to the quote button it takes me to the advanced reply page.

Which is where i can choose fonts/icons etc.

None of the icons at the top of this section will work - if i click nothing happens?

Maybe my browser or something? Do i need to enable java perhaps?

Works! :) Ta, muchly.

Damn -- you learn new things every day! I've been doing it "manually" by copying from multiple tabs -- this is a really cool "hidden in plain sight" feature.

Thanks!

You should see three buttons, the quote button, and two smaller buttons to the right of it. The one directly to the right of the quote is the multi quote.

Don't know what it could mean if you aren't able to see it.

Once all of them are set click on the quote button to the left of it and it will take you to the advanced quote page where you should see all of your quotes one after the other.

Thanks for pic - that button has never changed colour for me.

1. To mulitquote i'm supposed to click on the above button and it will change colour? If thats correct, it doesnt work for me, because the next thing that happens is the page refreshes and changes to the 'advanced post' thingee.

2. help.

Looks like i'm the only one that cant multi-quote. lol

I reinstalled java thingee. (v1.6)

Its enabled in opera....

It still dont work. lol

And as i mentioned earlier, those icons etc at the top of the 'go advanced' page are also useless. I cant even click on those - nothing happens, so i assume thats also related to the java thingee.

I'll keep fiddling away - it normally gives in sooner or later.

Thats the problem, there arent any.

Opera is at least different to all the others. All the other are just IE clones, or FF clones.

Tried seamonkley the other day. Its FF's sister.

What do you suggest i try Lildeath?

Once you've selected the messages you want to quote, click on Post Reply. (ie not Quick Reply). You'll go to the Advanced Reply page and your quoted messages (from that thread) will be included already in your reply. Any Multiquote selected post from other threads will be included under the advanced reply box with the option to select them.

Thanks. But is there an easy way to multi quote a single message from one reply? For example, when you reply to a post that is long and you want to reply to it in small parts by quoting a few lines at a time?

chiskop

Not that I know of.

AFAIK you'll have to go into the post and edit it yourself.

This means breaking up a long post and actually getting into it and then wrapping quote tags around each section and then replying to it and then taking another section of the long post and individually wrapping it again - hope I'm making sense here :p

Something like....

I like fuzzy bushes

What a coincidence? So do I!!!

I still have to encounter a piercing...down there ;)

Yet another coincidence - SO DO I! :p :D

etc, etc ;)

Hope it helps!

Thanks. I guess i found out the hard way that you have to slice up a post the manual way:D
