I'm running an AOpen 450W PSU which was very cheap (something like R250-R300, can't remember). And I'm running the following with no problems:

AMD 3800+ (Single Core @ 2.4GHz)
GA-K8N Pro-SLi Motherboard
2 x 1GB Corsair XMS TwinX Gaming RAM
Palit 7900GT 512MB (factory overclocked)
3 x Seagate 320GB SATA2 7200.10 drives
2 x Samsung DVD-RAM writers
A floppy drive (never used)
Creative SBLive! Soundcard
3 x 80mm Fans

I wouldn't be surprised if a 450W PSU worked for you as well.
