Current state of GW

After a 5/6 month break from GW I am thinking of trying it out again. Before I do that however does anyone mind giving me a quick rundown on the current state of GW?

Specifically how is the PvP doing? Still dominated my certain builds? (was searing flames last time I played). Is paragon a viable toon again? Questions like these, thanks alot :)

Heh, not too worried about the economy at this stage... Still have a few mil on storage. Too bad it doesnt get interest if you dont play :(

Heh,just went to have a look at some forums... People seem pretty upset with the latest economy changes, maybe I should log on and go buy a few rare skinned weapons :)

Yeah I used to play GW often Have the original plus Factions, am wondering if it would be worth getting back into myself.

Of course the game is way better with good mates, pity they all got tired of it or lacked interest so I eventually quit myself.

It would be good to start over again :) Only thing I hated about it was that it seemed many GW players took it way too seriously and didn't give noobs a chance at all. Goodness forbid you trying to get into a team if they don't know you.

Also I was so busy being leader I had no time to try out builds and understand wth the slang meant when people announced for fighters lol :/

I played gw around september 2005 - february 2006 and stopped for while, played on and off, gave away most of my gold, etc etc.

Started playing again since this weekend, and i realised i missed it, so i began playing again hehe :D only have prophecies btw (ya i know, :/) but i'm going to buy both expansions very soon. Need to rake up the gold again.

It's been months since I been in the GW Universe, used to go on , just to maintain the updates, guess I need to pay it another visit. Now that my whole network at home is sorted, will venture in tonight, just to update and see what it kinda looks like in there.

Just spent 2 hours pvping, had a awesome run! 13 flawless victories with 2 monks and 2 sins :) The monk skills is coming back to my fingers :)

I think I will try out GW for a bit and see what happens on the PvE side of things. Just have to find a fun Guild

I haven't finished Nightfall yet, even though I bought it a few weeks after it came out...too much real life to deal with ;)

But I'll probably be trying to get in some regular GW sessions over the next few weeks...wanna see how NF turns out.

Has anyone seen the pics of the next expansion and for GW2?...looks like GW is going to get better and better :)
