I got a call from a company doing recruitment in SA for "Five G" from the UK... my alarm bells are going off and I was wondering if there are any other people who have been approached?

Company apparently deals in VOIP and is looking for SA'ns because they "are hardworking"

Alarm bells:
-Girl phoning sounded like she's giving a sales pitch rather than recruiting
-Girl is definitely not a recruiter: asks stuff like "Would you be interested in an international company", etc and never asked me where I completed my studies, never asked me where I currently work (only asked what I do at my current employer).
-Everything works through a "manager" who has final say about everything
-They are not at liberty to say anything about the job and/or the company
-They are not at liberty to give any of their contact details to me
-They only have one specific time for a presentation-interview in Bellville "because the guys are coming from London"
-After being vetted by the sales-pitch-girl and contacted by her manager, she phones saying "CONGRATULATIONS you have been selected to come for a very special interview" ya-da-ya-da.
-Absolutely NO referral to 5G or Five G on the internet (other than a gardening company)
-Sales-pitch-girl "will phone me later with an address for the interview"
-Sales-pitch-girl said "some offers will definitely be made at the interview session"

Anybody here who knows anything of this?

or a "commission-based" sales programme where you flog s**t to people and charge them a premium...

That sounds a bit dodgy, I would go for the interview though to see what it's about

that's what I'm thinking too... just a shame the "once in a life-time opportunity" is at 11am - right in the middle of an extremely hectic day...
