I understand that it is possible to to get a broadband package consisting of 384 & 3Gb cap from any ISP, and the only service and payment I need to make to Telkom is for the initial ADSL connection fee and the monthly line charge of R110.
Can someone please tell me if this is correct or do I need to pay telkom for my line speed as well. MalmsburyTelkom officials are telling me that the only service I can get elsewhere is the cap, and to transfer from telkom dial-up to broadband I have to take line connection and speed from them alone.
Can someone please explain what I can get.
I just want as little to do with Telkom as possible, and will migrate elsewhere as soon as a viable alternative arrives
