An arm and a leg, to be honest.

There are various posts on MyADSL discussing this, http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=54328&highlight=diginet

AFAIK, you pay for the distance from one point to another. diginet is not like ADSL in the sense that it is cable directly linking two sites.

if you want to use the diginet line (called a circuit) for internet access, you will need to get an ISP. you should find out from the ISP where the circuit should terminate.

Have a look at Bandwidth Barn (http://www.bandwidthbarn.org/), they might be just what you are looking for.
