I saw this yesterday at a MTN Connect store at Canal Walk.

Only difference is where the standard subscription for a Procall 120 is R309 the E90 will be R409 per month and the N95 will be R379 per month.

Good deal.

Didn't see anything about hidden costs.

Only saw the E90 on the usual stand that says Procall 120 and Free. Then the amount of R409.

Same with the N95. Procall 120 and Free. Then the amount of R379.

I go there sometime alone as well. My wife don't like Canal Walk. She rather go to Tyger Valley.

Speed Models, yes. My kind of store. I was there yesterday.

There's another one in D'ville accross the road (Durban road) from Tyger Valley, the center with MacDonalds and Spar... they have a larger range of stock. I bought a 2nd hand Savage X and need spares, so thats where I'm heading this weekend...

Marius - spoke to him yesterday, seems like a nice enough guy, asked him about hop-ups... he covered just about everything available, including different makes.

Never dealt with them before though. How do you find their prices?

Pricing is the best. And yes, Marius knows he's stuff. He did professional racing but looks like his passion is more into the selling side now.

I take it you meant R409/pm? Is that for the E90?

I can't decide between the two, leaning towards the E90...

Hopefully this applies to ports as well.

I use my N95 for connecting to my wireless router to access the internet but I haven't tried to set it up to share files between my N95 and PC with wireless Lan yet.

I'm still using the trial. You download the trial and then buy a licence if you want to continue using it.

Hey the special for E90 and N95 are correct but on one condition u cannot migrate to a higher or lower package during the two years as u would normally be able to do with every other package.

This week i was lucky enough to play with a Nokia E90 its a tough call between that one and N95. Both are brilliant phones, The only thing that is inferior is the camera on the E90 its a 3.2 mp but does not hav carl zeiss lens so pics are not as brilliant. So if u want business tool or "mini laptop" go with E90. If u wanna capture lifes moments go with Nokia N95

Thats a bit odd, that they want let you migrate to a 'higher-priced' contract.

Well... Virgin, yet again, screwed up... my port didn't go through cause they let it time out, and I'm now back in Jhb. $%$% *******s!

Shows how much the typical sales person knows. I just finished a phonecall with sales lady from MTN SP who advised I sign the Procall 120, then migrate to the 300!

Lol sorry about that u really do get lots of people that should not be in customer care. It is very frustrating.

For MTN at least it does make sense, they sign you a package with a lower minutes, higher rate. The person, at least in my opinion, who would typically get a phone like E90 will need more than 120mins. So you get the phone for free, but then you are locked into a contract, and you cannot migrate, in this scenaria they will quickly recover their outlay. So I'll be going with the R2k pay in option on procall 300 rather!

Walked into MTN port elizabeth today (the service center - cape rd for anyone here) after the mtn active said my account is eligible from today for an upgrade

Waited in queue for about 30 mins then asked about the n95 on procall 120, got told the usual R1599 story!

Asked the guy to up my package to procall 120 anyway as its more suited to my needs (after checking that that wont disqualify my upgrade hehe)

While he was doing his work i was looking over his printed sheet of specials, and low and behold there is a n95+1gb for free... and further up one for R1599. The free one is procall120 @ R379pm and the R1599 pay in is on procall120 @ R309

This is from mtn them selves, as far as i know they call themselves MTNSP, but dont goto the DEALERS goto them themselves as the dealers only seem to have the 1599 only

Biggest bonus was while filling in the upgrade forum he dissapeared for 2 min and came back with my phone, total time an hour about :)

MTN at Paddocks know their stuff. That's where I got my N95 almost 2 months before most guys got theirs.
