'EU scheme will hurt developing countries'

I laughed my ass off when I read this part :

Moroccan international economic law professor Tajeddine El Husseini said: "This is a new form of colonisation, of discrimination ... it is a criminal act of the north to drain the south of its brainpower."

So it's now considered colonization, discrimination and a criminal act to offer a higher paying job to anyone who wants to apply for it?
What sort of screwed up logic is that? :D :D :D
If someone wants to leave for a better paying job overseas then by all means call them a traitor but how on earth can you accuse the countries offering a better life and salary of discrimination?

Don't get so worked up over these vitriolic responses. Do you seriously think anyone in the EU gives a damn what the SA health minster or some guy from Morocco think? :) Besides there's enough taxi and bus drivers from Morocco in France already, let a few doctors go over too, for a change. :)

The world is a big place and outside of Africa, no-one mentions the word "colonisation". No-one cares :).

Great! I like this scheme... Can't use it, but some of my family can...

Anyone who has been to Paris recently will tell you that there are a huge number of immigrants. So much so that the whole character of the place has changed. If I visit France I want to see French people and culture, not those from East Africa! We would complain bitterly if a tour operator brought some Russians to SA and took them for a tour of a white or Indian suburb!

They must limit immigration to those who will contribute the most - like they do with the Green Card in the US. With so many to choose from, this is the wisest move.
