None of us here (that I know of) are pros at Photoshop but we've all read tutorials and given it a bash. Post any amateur Photoshop work you've done in the past/currently working on in this thread, show off your l33t skills and whatnot.

Here's mine:

(1) I was probably watching an episode of Beauty and the Geek and decided to replicate the show's logo.

(2) I love Chinese handwriting so I messed around a bit.

(3) This looks like something I did after reading a "web 2.0" tutorial.

(4) This one's for bwana. ;)

(5) Browsing Newegg's site, I decided to replicate some buttons and their logo.

That's it for no, let's see what you guys have? :D

Any ridiculously small vehicles with ridiculously large rims with only a thin spraypaint of rubber on them? :D

These do look good...

I do most of my logo work in illustrator - for the scalability.

Wow good work feo. Your use of light and shading is nice. What plug-ins do you use, if any?

Everything I posted was done a while back and I really can't remember which plugins were used for what, but plugins only added finishing touches, everything was done from scratch.

I'm using Photoshop CS3 - totally skipped CS2 so a lot of the features are new to me.

Only reason I don't use it is for some reason Adobe Gamma doesn't come bundled with it so my LCDs colour profiles go bonkers. Ah well, if I get a Spyder to calibrate then I'll switch to CS3.

It took me AGES to get the colour to look right without hurting my eyes so I'll just keep things the way they are now until I get a Spyder. I use Illustrator CS3 though. :D :D

I did a couple for the Photoshop Phridays and one Aging of Angelina for a tutorial recently. You can see 'em on my flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/28492354@N06/).
