My brother has a little gadget to measure 1/4 mile times but it's quite sensitive to inlines/declines

You need more than 400m for a street drag...you need space to brake your staggering 300km/h CTi Golf
I don't have a VW ... I'm not a huge fan :P
I need the 400m straight as that is where it will stop counting ... I can brake if there is an incline afterwards. Exit speed is only 140ish anyway.

Longest straight, which is not close to where you live however, is on the way to Namibia. 500km of straight flatness, almost like Kate Moss.
