I don't see Smartphones, Tablet PC's or even Laptops ever completely replacing the Desktop.

Desktops have always essentially been the "prototype" for the scaled-down Laptop equivalent. No matter how much the Laptop progresses, the Desktop will always come out on top.

I also don't see the Tablet completely replacing the desktop for power users and gamers who like the freedom of customization. It's true that Tablet PC's and Smartphones are making a huge impact worldwide, but the desktop, sometimes the all-in-one PC's, sometimes even the laptop, will remain the primary work-horse for businesses.

It's a fact though, that desktop PC's are becoming more expensive due to the size and weight of the components in terms of transport costs, which is why an entry-level laptop will often be cheaper than the desktop equivalent, so that does leave us with some uncertainty.

I still feel to this day that Tablet PC's are just additional accessories and are far from being Power-PC's.

This is purely my opinion, and a lot of people would disagree with me, but my general logic behind it is that since smaller devices need smaller components, no matter how much they progress, the desktop will always be 5-steps ahead.

When you use Amazon "trick" to get the free daily app, DO NOT update the Amazon App as it will recognise you are not a US user and you will lose the function.

To add to navigation, Waze. Where people can report accidents, hazards, broken down cars, police viability, etc. So far it has saved me a few times being stuck in traffic. You can join a group and chat to other people as well to find out how the traffic is on a route you take.

    Almost like TomTom HD Traffic.

It is also available for iPad/iPhone.

Well I've spent R40 on the JD Ultimate. I'll run it from a full overnight charge without tomorrow without it on tomorrow and then on Extreme the following. Results will be recorded using BatteryGraph.
