Android devices comes with allot of power, from animated backgrounds to the ability to run multiple applications in the background, not to even talk about GPS, FM radio and other components that can place a strain on your phone/tablets battery.
Problem is that we tend to forget some of the things on, or just would like to push the device to last 4 days instead of 1. Here is some idea's of how to monitor power use as well as some applications that can help.

People seem to forget when they shop around that phones are about functionality, its not a toy even if it can play games. It is an extension of you and your lifestyle.

One of the best things of Smartphones today is the fact that they bring internet with you, wherever you are, but in South Africa this comes with a price. As many would know data especially cellular data in South Africa is not cheap. This creates a unique problem as the devices and the software on them is designed to keep you always up to date, always in touch.
