Yes, AuthoPatcher was shut down for a while by Microsoft, but they are back and they now download the updates directly from the MS servers. The good news is you only need to do this once, and you will have a fully working AutoPatcher Folder...

1) Download the APUP engine file from their website. Unzip it to a folder. (ignore the false virus warnings - the file is quite safe).

2) Run the APUP engine and select the updates you want.
3) It will download the updates from the MS Servers and store them in a local folder.
4) Run AutoPatcher.exe to update your system.
5) Copy the entire AutoPatcher folder including APUP and AutoPatcher.exe to another computer and run it there to update.
6) You can re-run APUP.exe at any time to grab and merge the latest updates. Just re-run AutoPatcher.exe again to install the updates.
