Previously, the Disqus comments system on MyBB used to show the "Best" comments first. I have become very used to this layout, and find it very difficult to follow discussions that are now sorted "Newest" first.

I am not sure if this change was made by MyBB, or if there is something wrong with my browser/cookies/cache.

According to this Disqus Help article, it is supposed to remember my preference. However, for some reason, it is not doing this. Even after I change the sorting order to "Best", if I refresh the page it changes to "Newest".

Is MyBB over-riding user preferences somehow? I've cleared all my Disqus cookies in Firefox, cleared my cache, and tried setting the preferences again, in case there was some cookie/cache issue. This did not help.

The problem started about 1-2 weeks ago. It could have been a Firefox update that caused it, though I am not sure.
