The amendments were made to the transfer docs but now the loan seems invalid.... Ok my fault I know, I wish I knew better at the time... So what to do?

The loan agent will attempt to hold the bank to the loan but if that fails what are my options? Apparently a re-application will not get me more than 75% since she is foreign.

Thanks in advance for any helpful advice.

The SO and I are going to Dubai and Turkey for holiday. Leaving CT 12/06 for Dubai and leaving Dubai for Istanbul on 15/06, returning to CT via Dubai on 23/06.

We know what we will be doing in Dubai but a bit overwhelmed by Turkey as there is just so much history to take in.

So my question...

Another option would be to just land in Istanbul and wing it . We both 36 and this will be our first trip to Dubai and Turkey.

So here's my question... Are skinny jeans a fashion statement you, providing you're a man, make for yourself or does your SO choose them for you?
For the life of me I cannot understand why a man would buy them. If you're a teenage hipster, emo, skate rat and you need the ankles of your jeans tight to keep them falling right off, not just past your ass, perhaps... Although you probably have bigger issues than skinny jeans in that situation anyway. Do I need to know you inherited your mother's tiny ankles? Do I need to see all of your designer shoes including the laces? No. Why would you do this to yourself? Why?
I have to add I'm also over every pretty woman I see ruining everything by wearing them... Next time your SO asks if those jeans make her ass look big, point out that a fashion item that makes one end look like the point of a needle and the other end look like, well, her ass, makes that question rhetorical.
Mini rant over and back to the question... Who is actually buying these April fool's clown pants? If it's you, why, sweet lord why? If it isn't, isn't the fight and sulk when you say "NO!" worth having, just so you can hold onto you dignity?

I will be driving back up from Cape Town in about 3 weeks, and want to stopover in Beaufort West. What places do you recommend for us to stay there?.

I`ve known this girl for a week, shes batsit insane

Event 0:
she sends me flirty texts such as "Mwah Miss you",
"I cant take it if anything bad happens to you",
"I hope we`ll be close in future"
"Heyy are you busy?,wanna have dinner?"

Event 1:
We go for lunch and she insists on choosing my order for me(control freak much?)
I refuse and order what I want, she gets grumpy and beechies
Doesn`t talk to me,makes snide comments, criticizes my choices.

later on she starts talking to me like nothing happened...DAFUQ??

Event 2:
Suddenly out of the blue she starts asking me about my sexual relations with females.
I mention a few(bad idea probably)

And suddenly I`m the spawn of satan,I`ve committed and unforgivable offence(I`m still a virgin, technically)
So now she`s saying I`m morally inferior than her and I`m going to burn in hell.

the next day shes back to normal like nothing happened again and tells me about her boyfriend(see the cycle)
DAFUQ No 2

Event 3:
She invites herself to my place for a while and looks for something to drink, she finds it and drinks a coffee
then she takes out a book and starts reading
DAFUQ No 3
1.
I am seriously stumped about wth is going on...anybody can make this sense for me?
2.
It seems like she thinks I`m her play thing?

I don`t enjoy her company anymore... I`d like to cut off/reduce contact without souring our relations(I don`t want to die,or be drowned in sheep blood while sleeping.)

I see her atleast weekly due to mutual work...
3.How do I get away?

The inevitable question....pm for pics
I`l censor out irrelevant stuff and her identity(like those black bars over their eyes and genitals)

Okay I guess shop staff must be tired but some of us only have a chance to shop late and the Waterfront stays open til nine. I needed to get the kid a pair of takkies and you know these things aren't cheap. You can score a decent pair of cape Union Mart hiking boots for yourself for less than a pair of designer takkies for 8 year olds. Prices aside, it just seems people dont want to be bothered to serve you. Some stores didn't even have a measure thingy for the foot.
Some stores were crazy priced. But the staff I mean really, I've been in Funeral homes and I've had better responses from corpses in a caskets. At least the casket judders when you knock it... But some BEE employees can't be arrsed to help so the stressful shopping experience becomes a DIY exercise. Yep an empty store and all standing around looking mega bored. I just moved on and found a store that wasn't too bad but even houseplants after a decent watering have more enthusisam, maybe they earn too little to want to serve or maybe they're too tired to care, But its a lot of money (to me) and you'd expect just a little service- is that too much to ask? Kudos anyway to the guy who slipped in an extra gift. It was appreciated.
I also discovered if you have the misfortune or fortune of being in the waterfront just before 9, Pick and pay is desperate to unload their sushi. So it's buy any one and get the other free. Good deal R100 worth of sushi for R30.
makes up for all the retail "therapy "

Has anyone here studied in a foreign language.

3 weeks ago my grandfather passed away, he was deep in his 80s, he spent his entire life working as a building materials scientist. He worked for the CSIR and was well-reputed in his field across the world, he earned a DSC for his life's work, which is a great achievement.

However he wasn't much of a businessman, he would do research for companies for free or work for a decent salary. He always said that he could only carry 1 t-shirt. So science and not money was his motivation.

So on his funeral, this one man came to my father and said he is willing to sponsor one of his grandchildren to go and study in Germany (the guy is a German). So I'm the only grandchild that can speak German, even though its my third language. The man told me that my grandfather helped him start up his business in SA when he was very poor and today he is a millionaire because of it, in fact he earns way more than a million per year, and that he wanted to give something in return, apparently my grandfather always refused to take some of his money, he said 'dit kom hom nie toe nie' (Afrikaans for it doesn't belong to him).

So he feels that he has to give something back to my family and is willing to sponsor me to do my Masters in Germany next year - all expenses paid.

However there is one catch, I have to do it in the field that my grandfather works in (which is not a problem as I also studied something very similar, I am the only grandchild that studied his field). However, the courses that I am interested in are only offered in German in Germany, I've checked most of the universities out and it seems to be the case of all of those that I checked. This is going to be a massive challenge, but I am willing to put in the effort.

So has anyone ever studied in a foreign language and what experiences did you have?

Two men who wanted to prove that their wives were 'exaggerating' the pain of childbirth underwent a labor simulation meant to mimic contractions experienced by women - with hilarious results.

In celebration of Mother's Day, the men, from Kensington Church based in Troy, Michigan, contacted gynecologist Dr Julie Masters and filmed their experience.

'I’m going to throw up,' says one man in front of his wife, who was in the room watching the labor simulation unfold.

The video, posted on Vimeo, follows the men as they have electrodes attached to their abdomens, which simulate contractions - 'and what your wife went through during labor,' explains Dr Masters.

Staring with 'early labor,' a two or three on the doctor's pain scale, the men squirm and 'breath through it.'

One of the men exclaims: 'That was early labor? It feels like someone is taking a saw and just carving up my abdomen.'

By the time they reach the 'active' stage of labor, the squirming has turned into screaming.

'I'm hoping that's a seven [on the pain scale],' says one of the men. 'No, you're at four,' remarks the nurse.

Finally, the men, addressing their own mothers on camera as 'heroes,' conclude: 'That was a lot worse than I thought it was going to be.'

This isn't the first time curious men have used a simulator to experience the pains of childbirth contractions, however.

In January, Dennis Storm and Valerio Zeno, the male co-hosts of the Dutch TV program Guinea Pigs, underwent the experiment for the benefit of their viewers.

'It was torture for me,' Zeno said afterward. 'I don't know if I dare make my wife pregnant.'

The pair underwent the simulator for two hours - about twelve hours short of an average labor.

In 2009, Dr Andrew Rochford went through the entire childbirth experience during a similar simulation for the Australian TV show, What's Good For You.

After more than two hours of contractions while clutching pillows, Dr Rochford admitted that he could now 'understand why women swear.'

But some doctors believe the simulation doesn't compare the the real-life pain women experience during labor.

'You can think of this as a very strong charley horse,' Dr. Jennifer Ashton told ABC News. 'Is it as painful as labor? My opinion would be it isn’t.'

Anyway, I was once told that resting and doing no exercising for a week or two is ideal so your body can recover fully, is this true? I'm into jogging, I sometimes take part in 10km marathon runs every so often. I want to take part in a 10km race this coming Saturday, but not sure if I should in case my body hasn't fully recovered yet. I feel 100% well now, except for mental fatigue caused by too much work.

As title says she probably left me... we dated a year (Best time of my 25 years life). We constantly argued over social networks, we both had trust issues.

It's my first girlfriend and shes my everything, we fight and the relationship is so wrong on so many levels but i really do love her a lot. She came out of a long relationship and i was there for her and stood by her. I've forced myself to not send her a text or anything since last night and its really hard. She told me yesterday she doesn't want to be with me and i should leave, i stood there insisting to stay. Sort of acted desperate, which is like a knife through the heart.

Boils down to the fact that I made mistakes that made her unhappy, she made mistakes that made me unhappy etc.
Anyway i just want some advice on getting over this. I'm not the most good looking guy so i guess it will be difficult to find someone else seeing as she was sooo pretty and i couldn't understand what she saw in me.

The fact that all the guys will now jump at the opportunity of trying their luck with her is so painful.

I sound pathetic but just how i feel. Need advice for getting over this/her.

Advice would be appreciated
