Today I came across a situation where a father and 2 kids left behind a backpack as they were leaving. Me being somewhat awake I pointed this out. Said father shouts at kid for forgetting the pack & drives off after the kid fetched it.

So I'm standing there thinking wtf. I just saved you a couple hundred rand plus addressed you politely as "Sir" - in return i got blatantly ignored.

Now I don't expect the world of people but surely saving you a couple hundred deserves a verbal "thanks" at least. :confused:

SA seems to consist of 90% *******s and 10% people who are worth their weight in gold...

Hard drive/ file hoarders?

So was thinking today, and I don't actually know what else you could really call it so....do you think you get people that are hoarders with the stuff they keep on their pc's, for example keeping terabytes of movies,music or programs etc., cause I always have that moment where i'm like ah I dunno if I should delete this series off my pc because I might watch it again, but I know inside i'm never going to, but when push comes to shove to free up some space on my hard drive I can part with it, but I am sure there are people out that keep terabytes and terabytes of useless stuff that they find they can't part with? Surely it could be classified as hoarding? Atleast it is neatly done, unless your house starts to become stacked with hard drives.

This happened to me quite a few times, I'm in a checkers or pick N pay etc. Not sure if its maybe i look like a target or 'Nice Guy' (Chump)
A guy comes up to me and says hes short of a few rand for what ever his buying.
really don't feel comfortable so i normal say i don't keep cash - which is somewhat true i keep as little cash on me as possible, prefer to pay with card.

Any way today guy comes up to me and asks, and i say sorry I don't keep cash on me, hes like ya right how you going to pay, I reply card. then hes like sarcastically say ya right who goes out with out any cash, my answer well clearly you.
