Recently I received an ancient old P2 at work with the challenge: make something useful out of it.
The box. P2 200, 196mb ram, 4mb SiS 6326, 40gb HDD, wonky acer NIC and an awe64 soundcard.
I had a spare p2 cpu which upped it to 450mhz. The_Librarian donated an old SD ramchip and now it has a whopping 256mb. Replaced the wonky NIC with an Accton also mooched off of Ook.

Some joker probably sanded the disk, was scratched that much..
Boss on my ass, making all sorts of promises if I can copy it. So I tried the old trick of using metal polish and polishing it. Would take too bloody long and was too close to beer o clock.
So Gru takes 2 of them rubber ring thingies you get in cd spindles. Put one on grinder, disk, other one and tighten it.
Dab polish on the disk and revving the grinder apply piece of TP to it. Can't run the grinder
