The Durban Freethinker group exists to four core purposes:
1. Help individuals transition and adjust from religiosity to freethinking
2. Unify non-religious individuals who may describe themselves as non theists, atheists, agnostics, sceptics, Brights, anti-theists, humanists, secular humanists and intellectually honest,
3. Stimulate dialogue, discussion and learning on matters of science, truth and humanity
4. Establish a voice of reason and rationality in our community, where principles of humanism, ethics and morality prevail over faith, the supernatural, fundamentalism and the delusional.

Our current executive summary is as follows:

I am part of the newly formed Durban Freethinkers. I don't know your location, but if you live in Durban it would be great if you would join us. We have had 3 meetings and have grown to 10 members so far.
