Hi Steve,

I use a pc with xbmc for all my movies and series. The sound and video outputs over hdmi into the HT and then from there to the TV. I found a setting in win7 which takes control of the sound processing and then you can't change sound settings on the HT.

Hi Steven, yes the dolby modes allow you to change between music, movie etc. I did manage to sort it out, it was a setting in windows 7 that I had to change. Thanks

On your ht c5500 are you able to change dolby modes when using hdmi input?
