HI, I came across your post on gas water heaters ( http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthre...geyser-in-here ) where you found details on your unit on my website www.gasexperts.co.za. I would like to suggest that if you are using the Rinnai you should get yourself a PC's UPS for the unit. We install a 1200w UPS on the units so that if the power does go out you can still use the geyser.

There are also settings that can be done on the unit for it to be forced to go on if the water pressure does drop. The Rinnai unit can also take a control pannel so that you can set the temperature inside the house, this way you set it for your usage. This way you use alot less gas.
