We're still busy settling in - lots of boxes, parcels and paraphernalia to unpack and sort out. But it is getting better by the day.
Because we opted to be off-grid, we have no electricity, but we do have a couple of solar lights for us to use.
Water still is an issue though, friends of us who live nearby offered us the use of their bathroom and we can fill our water bottles at their house.

After the walls and roof are up, they then do the floor inside.
We plan to use the wood obtained from pallets for the flooring as per http://www.viralnova.com/pallet-hardwood-floors/ - but for now we want to get our bearings first. Wooden floors can come later.

So last year we picked up that our expenses will be exceeding our income. And there is no other way to alleviate this problem.
So we decided to move to a plot and go completely off-grid (with the exception of municipal water). It took us a little while to locate a suitable plot in the Mnandi area, with an excellent view.
Then came the problem of housing. We don't have the funds to build a normal brick-and-mortar house, and a wooden house was also out of the question.
The images looks much better as do the characters. Whereas the Spectrum version did not had any built-in maps, the Android version have two (or more than two). Let me attempt to explain.
