Best security company?

I have an Alarm System in my home, but it's not connected to a Security Company. Which company would you recommend for armed response, and what do they charge per month?

I only know of ADT (probably cause they own all the smaller companies and if they don't own they, they are in the process of acquriing them)

I'm using a local company that service my area - they're pretty good but that won't help you being in Pta. I think I pay 200 a month.

I've heard ADT aren't too bad - not sure of their prices though.

That's why i also went for a local company. ADT can't be everywhere at once, but with a local company they are continously patrolling around your area.

I get a note in my post box at least once a week to say they have driven by and done a security check/curtosy(sp?) call

Definitely not City Protection.
Lightning killed part of our alarm system 4 weeks ago. Still waiting for them... Fixed it myself. We're switching over to ADT this month as well

The ones in Cape Town are generally good guys. Always in the community newspapers putting their lives before others. In fact just the other week one was shot in the stomach. Luckily he wasn't too hurt, and will be back to protecting us whities in the suburbs in no time

ADT is one of the more expensive.

In CT we use GSS, costs 140 per month and that is all. We're connected via radio and the radio fee is built in to the charge.
