    Question Autostyle.co.za- any good?

I see they now deliver country-wide and sometimes for free. They have a lot of nice car audio that you can't really get at places like Hificorp..

Does anyone have any experience with these guys? And is credit card the only payment method?

Most of things they sell is very very cheap made in china stuff.
No problems with car radios if you need body parts for a
very old model car then is fine, mostly FONG KONG, not worh it.

    Really? That is unfortunate.

Apart from hificorp(who never have stock of anything) where would you recommend for decent, well-priced car audio? And not Radio Autosonic- I did say well-priced

Try Sounds Dynamic in Rondebosch, opposite Hifi Corp.

But the truth is there are no decent, well-priced car audio shops in Cape Town to my knowledge

You're right, JBL, Earthquake, Pioneer, Calibra, Kenwood & Cerwin Vega - all being really cheap "fong kong" stuff

I've only ever used Soundmatch for my cars audio.

What are you looking to do?
A mean sound system or just a head unit and some speakers for normal driving pleasure?
    Shake&Bake™. That, just happened!

Autostyle I looked at years ago - they have some good specials on sound - I remember when they had 2x12inch 1000watt JBL's for under R1k.

I really wanted to use them for other aftermarket products on my old car.
Unfortunately my precious has been on the dust heap for a long time now

We're not talking about Romex or Jag Heuer watches. Besides, you're far more likely to find fake crap at places like:

To each his own I suppose.

Have you bought anything from them? Do you know what their delivery time is like? Site says 2-5 days normally...

And what about payment options- I don't have a credit card.

This site does look promising and I think I know where the shop is.

I am looking at a decent head unit that can play mp3 CDs, preferably with a USB input as well. I'd love to go mad with speakers but I'll stick to the setup that I have already- due to the rate that my car/car audio keeps getting stolen.
