I think Liverpool should have 2 managers - one for the champions league, and one for the EPL. Obviously Rapha should coach the champions league part.

well guys, the big games are tonight. Lyon a few years back were quite a dangerous team but i've been hearing that United should easily walk them over. this must mean that Lyon have lost their sparkle. predictions?

the other big game is Arsenal vs AC Milan. i'm actually kinda upset that both these matches are on tonight. i wanted to watch both. predictions?

Awful performance from my boys last night. I think I should just watch them in serie a and avoid watching them in cl.

Exactly. How on earth against an Inter team down to 10 and looking clueless does Kuyt and even Mascherano stay on the pitch . At half time Crouch should have come on for Kuyt and Pennant for Leiva. But the idiot takes off Babel who looked the most threatening. I don't think he has played 90min this season. Same thing happened against Chelsea a few years ago in the Prem. Down to 10 men and we had complete domination. Did Rafa go for the kill? Not in you life . Even against them a few weeks ago we had an excellant chance but no same old defensive obsession.

Well we did beat Barca last year while struggling in the league. In fact the first half at Anfield( After albeit rather unjustly beating them away) we gave them the biggest run around they've had in years. Tore them to shreds far, far worse than Inter. Sheer luck kept them from going 3 down by half time. They won in the end but it was a complete fluke.

How so?? Lets let lfc play 10 vs 11 for 60+ minutes and see how you fare. Roma beat real madrid. Another one of these great english teams chelsea couldn't beat the great olympiakos .
