The people in England and most likely the rest of Europe has cheap ADSL internet access, uncapped and all. They are also quite a distance from the USA, but they don't have any of the overpriced and pathetic service we have. Why is this?

One reason would be the number of people I think. There are 300 million people on both sides of the Atlantic.
