You help democracy by ensuring that appalling views and views unlike
your own, are allowed to exist.
    Sure, I agree LG.

But I didn't notice any political or personal maturity on that site (which is not to say that it requires censorship - just that its crap and vile).

Chris Roper's column on news24 this morning had some interesting things to say about Bullard/Qwelane/FBJ and the current state of race relations in SA.

Flagged. Lonegunman.. its not "contrary" as you put it. Its out right Bullsh*t written between bouts of brandy drinking, wife beating and farting.
You blame the ANC government when it was Google who removed the blog. I think you missed this boat completely.

    Oh well :P
Odd then that you want some people censored on this forum for views you consider appalling

QFT. Rights vs responsibilities. The right to have opinions does not overshadow the responsibility of not to infringing on someone else's dignity. The site is offensive, apparently just for the sake of being offensive. (I'm offended that I may be identified with these cro-magnons just because I'm a white South African).

    I liked the closing paragraph:

White people appear to have been prejudiced against since time immemorial, although inexplicably, except for about six black men in shiny suits, they appear to own most of the country's businesses. I recommend we invade at once and destroy the evil black oppressors."

That's racist, they cry. Now while I might agree with you that it's stupid to be racist, it's not racist to be stupid. And we need the likes of Jon Qwelane, the Paris Hilton of columnists
ROFL loony leftie twit logic. Of course Jon Qwelane isn't racist. After all racism is clearly only a one way street. It's not possible hence you must have confused it with stupidity hahaha

Flagged. I probably wouldn't have if he could've portrayed his issues with the country without being such a racist idiot.

I find myself in the odd position of agreeing with Fudzy.
If they simply chronicled acts of crime etc. without the derogatory comments I would have agreed that it was a freedom of speech issue.

Dude, you need to know if no one on this site agrees with you, considering all the negative sentiment towards SA on this forum, that the blog was a load of rubbish and needs to go asap.

Well my view on that site need not really be aired as I am sure you are all aware how I feel about it....

Just the name of the blog alone is enough to get me flagging away!

I really wouldn't mind finding out a little more about this blogger... pity it is always anonymous. But I suppose he'd be more reluctant to say what he does if it wasn't. Brave are those who are hidden behind anonymity...
