    Out of curiosity, when WantItAll purchases an item on behalf of their customers via Amazon.com, do they purchase it new, or used? And is this the case every time?

    The reason I ask is because the last time I purchased something from WantItAll, and I do mean the last time - sometime after they sorted out where my EFT magically disappeared to - I received the game I ordered, Black & White 2: Battle of the Gods. I would even have been thrilled had I not just discovered that I'd spent R395.30 on a scratched disc with the serial key sellotaped onto it.

    After the original issue with my EFT - and having them tell me that I had to go to my bank and request a proof of payment when the reference numbers used for the purchases were there, vividly waiting to be seen on their bank statements - I simply decided that I didn't want to put up with any more of their nonsense, took the disc broke it and tossed it in the trash, where it belongs.

    When I buy something, especially as a collector, I tend to buy them new with a box, manual and unscratched disc. And only in the most desperate of situations, where I can't find something, I'll buy it second hand, but even then with a box, a disc and a manual.

    I am really sorry to hear about the problem you had, and will gladly sort it out, if it hasn't been already - if this is the case, please send me a PM with more details, and I will sort it out for you ASAP.

    As you may know third parties are able to list their products on Amazon, with them being the only people selling the particular product in question. Where it goes wrong is that they list their products as new, but when it gets to the client, it is discovered that the product which was listed as new, actually wasn't. i.e. We get tricked just as much as the customer does.

    Problems like this do not happen often, and it might have been a case of this particular product slipping through the cracks of our quality control system.

    We do apologize about this sincerely, and thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will gladly correct this mistake for you.

    Thank you, Maliza, your apology means a lot, but I've put it behind me. It was infuriating at first, but it isn't of any consequence any more Plus, there's nothing that can be done, the disc is gone and this was in January already.

    It was just a matter of curiosity that's been bugging me - whether you guys purchase new or used from Amazon. I suppose it was my fault for not bringing it up, but I didn't see the need to go through more waiting and explaining. I think I tend to avoid conflict when it comes to matters like that - it's embarrassing.

    Hi, we will most definitely be able to bring you this. Please just be aware, since we order from America, that it will be the American version. Also, I have never personally worked on the package before, so I do not know if they have a South African Rand option, so this does not make me the expert
