Blogs are all dying

I am getting rather frustrated with the lack of exposure the blogs get. I mean damnit I try to post some cool pieces of writing and it just seems to go unnoticed by forumites.

I have no solid suggestions to improve the situation other than having a thread which kinda announces new cool blog entries. Also possibly more incentive to write to blogs would be good.

Nah I really want to keep blogging here. Just pointless if no one reads.

I don't think it has to do with what people think about my blog, its that they are not even aware it exists that is the problem.

There are thousands of good blogs out there. Much like everything else, everyone can draw/write/shoot a gun/burn a flag/be an ass...but few can do it well. The "blog" tab is up there...we all see it. I just havent bothered with any of your writing. sorry. any of your writing. all the blogs on MyADSL doesn't compare to the ones I read. again, sorry.

Your blogs arent useful. Always bitching about people who are religous. You need to find a niche, then those people who are interested in that niche will read and comment more.
Do you expect rpm to make a big announcement everytime you grace us with one of whigning blogs?Get real. Start your own site then you can get the exposure you want.

Seriously though, as far as blogs are concerned, I don't scour the internet for lack of good reading material - I usually come here for something I'm looking for.

MyADSL is different - the RSS feed gives me an odd subject or two I'm interested in and I read the article.
What exactly is the difference between a blog post and a forum post anyway? For me the main difference is blogs don't show up in the forum and don't add to my RSS feed... so they don't get my attention.

If there is one thing I will NOT do on the net, it's go looking for a blog to read. They're usually done by self opinionated people who like the sound of their own voice - not that that's your case NM, just something I have discovered... i.e. the majority of blogs I have read.

Blogs? I think the only blogs I have ever accessed are ones rpm put in the news section. Other wise I have never read a blog...
