Default Can anyone tell me how to power an L.E.D from microwaves?

    I have an LED
I have a full wave rectifier

I don't know what to do for an antenna; I want to pick up microwaves which are constantly being broadcast in the air, what is the most prevalent, and what type of antenna (length etc.) do i use?

    Thanks if you can help

Try it on high for about 5 minutes and let us know how that works.

You make as if its to smooth out the dc,Did you include a cap for better stability

well for a tx or rx you will need coaxial cable.
i think afaik you will have to make the rx part about 10cm bare,i know that most tx is about 10 cm bare and the rest shielded.
