bru thats such a hacker thing to say
Honestly, if you want all the unlocks then work for them!
Only got my last unlock when I got to sergeant major, and thats the way its meant to be.
BF2 isnt a short term game, i have been playing it for more than 2 years and I am just bellow major.
That is what makes the game as worthwhile as it is

do you guy think using macros is the same as hacking ?
like a macro to change to medipack, throw, throw, change to prime weapon.. on one keypress ?
42 yrs of Apartheid (1948 - 1990) + 22 yrs of BEE, AA & EE (1990 - 2012) = 64 yrs of sanctioned racism in SA, I hope my kids will see the end of it.
i would'nt really say so,,, but i suppose it can give a slight edge in not messing it up and getting the wrong keys pressd when u need to go back into the gun
well i'll draw the line right here, IT'S CHEATING!!! Finish and klaar, you're modfiying the game to do somehting it wasn't designed to do, therefore cheating.
Some might argue that the macro is available to everyone else and therefore the playing field is even, how about this, say I was an extremely good programmer and had the necessary tools to reverse engineer the game, introduce some code that is to my advantage, i could argue that the tools and knowledge are freely available and I've just figured out how to use them therefore yay me!
/rant
sorry about that, I just have a severe dislike to people cheating in games, whether it be big or small

is it true that if EA bust a hacker reset him and he starts again with 0 points????
Lately BF2 has become such a pain to play. And it just gets worse everytime I log on. I have decided not to play it any more....
1. SAW which is by far the most inaccurate gun in the whole game kills you with one shot
2. Headshots, I have never in my life played a game where you get killed by single shots each and everytime.
3. People know where you are even behind walls, you can camp on one spot for 5 minutes the moment you move around the wall, HEADSHOT.
OMG and don't get me started on these support guys Nade spamming the whole bloody time....
I won't be playing FPS games online no more, best to play them at lans where at least you can take the cheater's PC outside and Pee on it making sure the pee gets in everywhere it shouldn't be![]()
Pitbull I know what you mean. BF2 has become a mission to play. The servers get laggy and people dont die, but let me give you some answers to those points of yours.
1. All the support guns are extremely accurate in prone positions. That is why you always see those support guys jump at you and prone. I also didn't believe the support kit could kill people until I tried it. You just go prone and if the guys are close you don't even have to zoom, just shoot.
2. Ever played Counter Strike? Head shots are the only way to kill people in that game. I find if I play Counter Strike first and then go play some BF2 afterwards I am way more accurate and seem to get kills easier too. Maybe it is just because I'm aiming for the head then.
3. Most of the time that people know where you are it is because of the commander having either spotted you or having laid a UAV. Also remember if you press Q you can spot enemies too. If you spot an enemy it means he will show up on all your teamies mini maps.
* whistling*
Yea, I know there is a way of prob trying to argue out all these points above logically
Fact is however that I have experienced this way to much to even log onto BF2 again. Yes, lucky maybe but all the time.... never
As for the SAW gun, I have played too and yes I get the lucky shot from time to time. However, even if you dive down the cross on that gun is so big there is no way you will one shot a person at a distance. However, some people seem to get it right every time. Even if you open the gun up, the more you shoot the less accurate it gets.
I've just had enough of it tbhAnd the nade spamming..... what else can I say

i know alot of times you can put it down to having lag that make things seem a bit dodgy.
Thats why alot of guys moan when they cant shoot an oke. (this is the main excuse)
But why is it that the same guys who are killing everyone never experience the lag. even if they say they do,i'm sure if they say that they do, does'nt that mean you should get the jump on them in the fight and get the kill in?, but it does'nt seem to happen cause most times they end up killing you anyways.
even if their aiming is spot on ever single time, technically due to the way the latency works they should still miss a good few times, but they dont.
Many times i have had my cross hair on a guy standing still or prone for atleast 5 seconds both of us, crosshair dead on his head the whole time, shoot and miss shoot and miss.
TRY TO TAKE NOTE OF PLAYERS WHO ARE SHOOTING FROM A FAR DISTANCE(ANY GUN) TO SEE IF YOU CAN HEAR ANY BULLETS FLYING PAST THAT ARE A MISS. I HAVE NOTICED ON A FEW PLAYERS THAT NO SOUNDS GO PAST OF EVEN 1 BULLET GOING PAST ME AND IS A DIRECT HIT UNTILL I AM DEAD, EVEN THOUGH THE MOFO WHO IS SHOOTING IS ALSO MOVING AROUND LIKE CRAZY ON HIS SIDE. CROUTCHING PRONING LEFT RIGHT JUMPING, AND NO RECOIL AND ACCURACY LOST IN ALL THAT,, PLEEEEASE.
On a side note, I did have the pleasure and pain (i hate moving pc's) of attending RAGE once, when a big BF2 + BF1942 section was organised.
I spent quite a bit of time watching how the BF2 pro's played. Paying particular attention to how they aimed and how they moved and how they fired.
I was astounded by my results:
- they never ever shot at anything other than the head, ever.
- they fire a single shot, and wait for a very specific and disciplined amount of time before firing the second shot.
- they have character movement strategies that made my crouch + left + prone + stand + right moves look stupid.
But, the biggest factor simply has to be the first point above, the headshot. These guys had the mouse cursor precisely over the enemies head, 100% of the time. They would kill the current target, and with deadly precision the cursor would be precisely over the next enemies head, and they'd get the same result. I believe this skill is called tracking.
I was inspired by this and for the next 3 months or so I practised my headshotting and firing rates for different weapons. My success rate grew and grew.
But, I have to admit that since then I have become lazy, and I now find myself emptying clips into the chest of special forces enemies who I know have "armour". Then, when I die I simply acknowledge my uselessness.
But, having said all that, one thing I never experienced at RAGE was this:
I can play on the Urban II server with a full-house of our clan players, and a smattering of other non-clan players, some 40 or so on the server. The server runs smoothly, and the game-play is awesome.
BUT, sometimes, when certain people are on the server, even when there are only 30 people on the server, I find that when these players are in my vicinity or simply aim at me, that my game starts lagging. It has become quite obvious that something is not quire right there.
A simple example of what happens:
I am moving along, and I see the enemy approaching, but out of useful range, and now I go prone and setup the ambush ... before the enemy is visible I start experiencing lag and I get to see fleeting glimpses of the enemy while I try to kill the bugger. Next thing I am then staring at the re-spawn timer.
I have spoken to other players about this phenomenon, but they say that they have never experienced this. However, these guys also have 4MB ADSL lines and pimped up quad core machines.
I have an outdated 3GHz PIII on a 384 line.
My theory is that somehow the enemy player is causing some sort of interference to give himself an advantage, and the effect of this interference (extra data) on me is to lag me out quite badly, because of my lower system specs.
But, yea, I would need direct access to the server so that I could record the data packets that these suspect players send, and compare them to normal player data packets.
Then, to throw peanut butter into the mix, just when I think I have it worked out, it stops happening.
On another side note, I have noticed that if I am top of the score-board that I am almost bullet and grenade proof. if I can just remain on top of the score-board then I will remain so. I wonder if this is by game design? (The guys above who lagged me out were not top of the leader board.)

interesting note on the waiting to fire the next shot, i will definitly give that a try but I can imagine it takes a lot of practise to get right.
on a side note, I lot of people complain that some people are just too good and too accurate, IMHO these guys are just that good, BF has been around for a long time, the only guys left playing are the hardcore dedicated few. There are no easy noob kills running around and you're basically playing with the best in SA (cause they are the only ones left).

I've been playing since 2006 and I'm by no means a PRO. However, I've played with the best guys i.e. Maximus, Killa, Mephisto, etc. who are all rated in the top 50 in the world for their favourite kit.
Now tell me this, how is it possible for me to kill these world-class players on a regular basis (much less than them killing me I must add), but certain others are 100% bullet proof (even when knifing them while they're standing still?) I won't be told that it's a latency issue when I'm on 50ms and I manage to knife others just fine.
1 on 1, I will almost always lose the gun battle against the guys mentioned above, but it's never a constant pattern of one-shot-kills. Especially not while I'm moving.
The hitbox hacks have ruined the game completely as you no longer trust your own skill when you repeatedly shoot at someone and they never die.
