Default TV HD Recording : Hifi Corpse

    Hi Ladies (& Gents) [:p]

On my way past an electonic billboard yesterday i noticed an advert for a TV Digital Harddisk recorder similar to the TiVo product avaliable overseas, i didn't have much time to see before the ad changed, but it said something along the lines of "Record your DStv" "22 hours" and "Hard drive recorder" The Ad was from HiFi CORPSE [xx(] (Who i consider to be on par with Incredible Deception as far as commission hunting <s>crooks</s> sales people are concerned).

Has anyone got any more info, like price, how it works (what format it stores data in, could one transfer off the machine etc...)
Could i take out the HD and upgrade it with a 7200RPM 120 Gig? [}:)]

Have a look at www.lge.co.za for the news item "LG Electronics introduces HDD/DVD recorders into the South African living room"
80GB HDD, up to 70 hrs, timeshift, burn to DVD, etc.

You should be able to do this with any TV Tuner card worth its salt at low cost. I guess the vallue of this product lies in its portability. If it is priced right I would go for it.
