Neotel SME pricing revealed

You can compare it to a single line service, but you should also compare it to an ISDN service, which costs R 304.60 per month and R 33.33 per MSN. Or R 168.97 per line per month, but allows up to 5 MSNs on one line.

I've got 1 ISDN2a and 2 MSNs - Total: R 371.26 pm
Neotel equivalent: 3 separate lines (no hunting): R519.30 pm

Is it fair to include the cost of the phones? With a Telkom installation, people need to buy the phones.

@Neotel Rep: Wonder if it is possible to plug in a Speedpoint?

This sounds promising for my wifes business. We still gonna keep the Telkom number but only for incoming calls. Want to use Neotel to cut down on her phone bill and to have reasonable internet access to do nightly backups.

these clowns are not providing an alternative, they just pegging their prices at just-about telkom's pricing. whats the point? and with the complaints regarding taking 2 months to respond to quotes, whats gonna happen to their call centres once 13 more ppl start using their service? better the devil u know...!

Blame Ivy

k..this is sad.
So Telkom is starting to look good in comparison to Neotel now...
Thanks Neotel for giving us someTHING to compare our existing devil with.

Ahh well, its not Neotel's job to save the Telecoms market, they just want to make money like everyone else.
Blame government. Blame Ivy. Blame Icasa.

That is truly the most preposterous poppycock that I have EVER heard!

Translated into simple english for you: you're talking crap ... AGAIN!!

Take your inane comments somewhere else, please.

I'm disappointed, doesn't look like they are competing at all :( Same statement that MTN used, "better service".

What does "inane" mean?

web1913 "Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary (1913)"
Without contents; empty; void of sense or intelligence;
purposeless; pointless; characterless; useless. ``Vague and
inane instincts.'' --I. Taylor. -- {In*ane"ly}, adv.

web1913 "Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary (1913)"
That which is void or empty. [R.]
The undistinguishable inane of infinite space. --Locke.
