Anyone know when the new version of GTA is coming out, last i heard was 3Q/2004. Anyone got more info?

It'll probably be much later than that in SA though, it always is. We had to wait months and months for Vice City because of some kind of lapse or something in the music copyrights. No doubt we'll have that problem again, nobody ever learns.

still - it's illegal and we don't do it here. stop spreading the idea to ppl who actually go out and pay for software. without them the programmers would have no job and we would have no software.

Anyway, I was talking about the PS2 version, since the trend seems to be that it comes out on PS2 first.

I think the PC version will be out by December/January internationally and a couple of weeks later.

Recording on a VHS is different because first of you're paying a tv licence ( hopefully)and secondly the broadcasters are showing it freely so are you calling them pirates???!!! And in turn you can record it.

Copying pc games and music are illegal because you not giving money to the rightful owner, in this case Rockstar. Nor respecting the publishers right.

And also you only buy "for a long time" could that be 6 months, a year??

So actually you do support piracy you reject!!

Calm down ppl. I, like Pr13st, will often try a hacked version of a game to see if its any good - mainly because the free demos one can get are too big to d/l, or are multiplayer only and I like single player more.
However, if I like any game that I try enough to want to play it through, then I hop off to take2.co.za and order the sucker - because I respect the hell out of what games developers produce.

I must say some gaming houses overcharge for games tho - Microsoft especially. I mean Halo really wasn't good enough to justify paying R400+ for it...

Actually for a matter you can download like patches and demos with your internet connection (Sorry Pr13st)

Yes it is officially being released October 22 2004, PS 2 initially.
