It makes me so angry... There were so many players that dreamed of playing for Arsenal. I remember Henry talking about how good our squad was 2 or 3 seasons back. He said that he would return to Arsenal one day, even if it's as a water boy, and that he didn't think he would make the first team! Jens Lehman told Arsene to sign Klose, Klose took the golden boot at the WC. RVP told Wenger to sign Van Der Vaart, and Wenger thought better... Wenger thought better than to sign Van Der Wiel as well, and now we don't have a LB. This is bloody ridiculous. If someone thinks of it first, then Wenger thinks that he has already thought of it, or something...
Or what tends to happen is Wenger identifies an awesome player (Mata) and he goes elsewhere (Chelski) cause we take too ****ing long to make a move - he's officially become the best scout in Europe for OTHER teams.
And of course we have Wenger's team selections. We have Park who's actually bloody good! I feel sorry for him tbh - poor bastard never gets a game. Scores a hat-trick every other game for his country, but can't even get on as a sub. Yeah, bring on Arshavin (I made my name in THAT game against Liverpool) instead. Wenger's reason: "He haz not yet adapted sufficiently to ze English game..." because you've not played him you stupid twat!
/end rant
Anyway. Who's looking forward to next season then?!
I, for one, will be supporting STOKE. At least everyone KNOWS they're meant to be average...
I don't think Djourou is the worst defender. That honour goes to Squilaci.
I agree with the Rosicky comment, he plays with lots of passion and I really hope that he scores soon. Remember the World cup just before we signed him, he scored an awesome goal from out side the box. That will give him the believe and confidence that he needs.
I enjoy when he plays a ball with the outside of his foot, its like an art of his.
My wish is to get a top 4 position, that's our only aim (left).
so alot of people got their wish
arshavin is out
on a positive note it means we'll probably see more of yossi

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/st...rsburg?cc=3888Arsenal midfielder Andrei Arshavin has returned to former club Zenit St Petersburg on loan for the rest of the season, in a deal completed on Russian transfer deadline day.
If clubs were running unsustainable debt paying random people off the street to sit on their arse and do nothing he'd have a point.Arsene Wenger has launched a staunch defence of Arsenal's transfer policy, insisting the idea they should spend money they do not have is the reason "the whole world is bankrupt".
Arsenal have come in for heavy criticism in the wake of the Champions League thrashing at AC Milan and FA Cup exit to Sunderland, with many feeling the club have failed to adequately replace the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri.
There have been reports that, with captain Robin van Persie approaching the final year of his contract, the Gunners are now prepared to spend in the summer to avert a decline.
However, Arsenal have always emphasised the importance of their self-sustaining business model, and Wenger feels taking the kind of financial risk advocated by the club's critics would be foolish.
"What is unbelievable is that we run the model that should be absolutely normal and we look crazy. That is crazy," Wenger said. "People will do anything stupid, but we are not crazy, we are all right.
"We spend £1 if we make £1 and [then people say] 'What are they doing?' That is what is absolutely mad in our world, but the whole world is bankrupt because of that."
Wenger feels Arsenal would be genuine challengers this season without having had to invest in world-class signings had Fabregas and Samir Nasri not departed and Jack Wilshere not missed the season through injury.
"Last year we were very close to the top and there was a rupture in the building of our team with losing Fabregas, Nasri and Wilshere," he said. "We could compete with anybody in Europe with our midfield."
Wenger acknowledges that Arsenal's refusal to match the wages on offer at other clubs is an issue, and he added: "When we play a young team you have to understand as well that we have chosen that policy.
"What is difficult to take once you get close is that the players move, and that is where we are in trouble. It is not the policy, it is not keeping our players once they arrive in a mature way."
Given Arsenal's recent poor form, Sunday's game at home to Tottenham could hardly have come at a worse time. Spurs go into the game ten points ahead of their arch-rivals, but Wenger says players have every chance of taking all three points.
"At the moment I believe that Tottenham are a good club, with a massive support, which they have had always, but I believe we are highly capable to compete with them and if you look at the consistency we have produced at the top level, there is no comparison," he said.
