That just shows you they are 1)either scared of phoning their SP and asking how to setup the service in question, or 2)their SP doesn't know how to help either or 3)they cannot spell and shouldn't be using email... not to mention 3G....

dear sir/mam = standard protocol indicating communications has been opened

my name is <obfuscated> am having netwokwork 3g service problem

netwokwork = a couple of woks networked

Seems he heard of BPL, and tried to network a couple of woks, and 3g is probably 3000 woks.

may you please help me by set it on my phone = meaning he wants to cram those 3000 woks into his phone.

thansbye = standard protocol indicating communication has ended.


On the other hand, it is a spammer sending an innocent-looking email off to check for any response to see if said email is alive.

dummies - plainly this guy is at a chinese restaurant somewhere and the service is slow. He sms's the kitchen wanting item 3 on the menu: 'cully plawns and flied lice'. The sms goes astray somewhere in the wok. Rpm gets the sms. He should just respond with: " Sir, we'll send a waiter immediately". Easy.
