Thread: Athiests????

  1. #1

    Default Athiests????

Does being athiest always mean that you don't believe in anything after this life or does it mean not believing in God?

my Q would be Why would you want to go to something after this ? are you afraid of dying ? did the primal need for survival kick in ? insurance not to pass away into nothing ?

@Necuno: Well I dont think theres is realy a choice....we don't choose to be here in the 1st place so we can't choose where we are going.I just think that since energy is constantly transforming from 1 state to the next to the next ,etc, we can't just end....

......AND I belive in the void as well, some people call that God or Universal spirit becuse everything exists there while nothing exists there at the same time.Others have just took that meaning of God and put it in a different context to gain,Power, etc.

So it has nothing to do with your fear of fading away in the annals of history?

Quite. How could we "just end"? Unthinkable. I'm sure we transform into stars in the heavens, so that we can twinkle down on our loved ones.

It means not believing in God. Some atheists manage to believe in an afterlife.

Also I don't believe that something specific could exist for eternity,so the whole heaven and hell thing is Bullsh*t IMO.

@Poster:Nope it has nothing to do with fear....Ive experianced worse things than I imagine death to be.(not sure if that is said correkitily).
