Hi there,
I'm looking for some help with this issue, but to paint a better picture of what exactly I am looking for, let me explain the situation.
I have a PC that I VPN into to run certain tasks, it connects to the net via 1 of 4 adsl accounts, through a dial-up process.
Now, I have sorted out accessing it despite the dynamic IP.
My issue comes in when one account gets capped or if the PC reboots.
This is an issue simply because unlike getting disconnected because of a hi-cup or something, where windows would normally just reconnect on it's own.
Being unable to connect to an account because it is capped will eventually throw an error and the machine will just accept it and stay off-line.
What I am hoping someone can help me with is to identify either a set of processes/settings or an application that could essentially detect that the machine is not connected and then automatically attempt to connect using a predefined list of accounts.
Is this at all possible? Are there any system settings hidden away that i do not know of or is there an application I could rely on to achieve this?
Any advice or assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
