OH Btw.. I found the Oly E520 I wanted. had to speak to somebody I know, who knows the Head of Oly SA and they can get it in for me. Now its just a matter of finding the cash to pay for it. I did some renovations to the house this month and any cash I had is now gone

I was given a really good price, but with the world's economy right now, I'll have to stick with the wifes 400D![]()
I am very much so. What price FIS?, But unless SARS pay me back my tax, and I get a raise this month.. I'm going to be in the situation were I have to sell off somethings instead of buying anything new![]()
What about this one - http://www.auction-it.co.za/shop.php...user_id=100003
Except for listed products you can also ask for specific items. They are the biggest sellers of photographic equipment on Bidorbuy.
Orms are fail.. they are too big and too cocky..
Has anyone dealt with Kameraz in Rosebank JHB. Any Good, bad experiences.
www.kameraz.co.za - Call them tho, they are better face to face than the web site.
This is becoming a bit of a disappointment. As some know, I bought my girlfriend a camera from Orms for her birthday (2009/03/27), a Nikon Coolpix S560, at around R2800.
When we went on holiday in April, it just stopped working, we took the battery out to charge - and when we put it back, it was dead.
I returned the camera to Orms on 2009/05/04 - and emailed them the receipt on 2009/05/05. I got a call from them on 2009/05/07 asking for the receipt - I then emailed this, and faxed it twice, once darker on 2009/05/07.
All has gone quiet so I emailed them again today, 2009/05/19, forwarding the mail that had the copy of the receipt (but without attachment) - Just got a call from them asking if I have sent the receipt, in reply to the mail that had the original receipt?!?!!?!? Its almost three weeks later, and nothing has been done!!!
I have spent close on R60,000 with Orms - not quite the service I was expecting.
