I drove past there this afternoon & fondly recalled my last & only ale, I had there, for the year so far

Braai. pork chops, boerewors, garlic bread, cheese&tomatoe toasties.

Pork can actually be bloody nice on a braai. Just marinate in water, dark soy sauce, crushed garlic, lemon juice, oil, black pepper, brown sugar or honey. Keep the marinade and keep dunking the pork in it while braaing.

If I had fresh ginger I would have added it to the marinade.
