looking around at the resting places it seems that either it be www.avis.co.za or http://www.qcarhire.co.za/

imperial seems to be most expensive while hertz, well looks like a dating site with that browser icon next to the adress bar.

I'm basically looking for a class a or class b for 7 days, should be 300km's in total at max.

just not to sure bout all the extra charges, wiavers, supers and so on.:o

Just rented a car from Avis for a month had no problems got an online quote from the when I booked the car, and that is EXACTLY what I paid they didn't try any funny stuff when I took the car back.

...lol... totally off topic, but wanted to thank you. If it wasn't for this thread I would have forgotten to organise a cab for tomorrow. Flying down to P.E. for the day; you saved my a$$

cool. ill keep them then at no1

Avis def not the cheapest. I think at this time renting a car through Kulula.com is the cheapest and they use imperial I think but the rates are much cheaper online with kulula and you don't need to fly with them for the rate either.

i did check imperial and they were R300 more on the class B polo classic vs avis; i tried via kulula but just getting the damned " Oh shucks, it seems Imperial Car Rental is a bit busy at the moment and cannot process your request. Please try again later." message all the time why i went directly to imperial's site....

pm me for car hire - Im a tour consultant and we get WAY better prices than the general public. This goes for accommodation as well. We get STO (Standard Tour Operators Rates) that is generally less than what the public pays. We make use of Avis - and I am sure I can get a great deal on car hire :)

Did you end up using AVIS? I just reserved a car for the weekend in Cape Town. Hoping no funny business.

why not buy a crappy car, like they did in top gear ?

extra fun dumping the thing afterwards!
