Its the entry level SSD of the OCZ range...

He has some high end gear and then couples it with an entry level SSD - makes no sense

Well its faster than an HDD so that is enough for me. But my main reason for buying it is power saving, my PC is running at about 40watts now and I am always trying to make it go lower. Next upgrade will be an LED monitor

Sure - it's slower on copying, but read speed is up there with the Vertex.

    I have a 128 Vertex 3 and it flies.

Am sporting a Corsair Force GT3 240GB and so far I eez very impressed - except when Windows recently did an update that slows the machine down to get from Starting Windows to Desktop display / usage.

Other than that no complaints she works like a bomb!

The Agility 3 has a faster write speed than the Vertex 4 (70mbps diff) & 35mbps slower difference in read speed. so it's not exactly entry level. That's with drives of the same size. When prices eventually come down, I'll upgrade to a 512GB

Yup. Crappy low res S-PVA panel.

You can't roll with the big guns with cheap ass screens like that. Once you have a 27/30" +-2560x1440 IPS monitor, then we talk son.

I do have a 32" S-PVA TV I used for a year as a PC screen which I thought was the business. Then I wisened up and got a 24" IPS monitor. Smokes the S-PVA TV. All I'm saying is if you want to flaunt then you've done it wrong. Pixel density difference between 32" and 40" is also concerning. Also remember that, assuming you've actually set your TV to PC mode, it strips all the other features away like 100/200Hz. So I take it your priority was TV/media/gaming over it being a PC screen. Fine fine.
